Dr. Yaakov Waksman conducted postdoctoral research under Professor Raphael Mechoulam at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem — contributing to early foundational studies on how cannabinoids interact with biological systems. Professor Mechoulam, widely known as the "Father of Cannabis Research," first isolated THC and CBD, laying the scientific groundwork for the entire modern hemp and cannabis industry.
